Two factors move pricing most: the number of participants and how much live facilitation is included. A self-paced course scales simply per person. A live workshop scales by group size, since facilitators work with a limited number of participants per cohort to keep exercises practical rather than theoretical.
Scheduling also matters. Programs run over consecutive weeks generally cost less per participant than the same material compressed into a shorter timeframe, since compressed scheduling requires more facilitator availability at once.
